I am planning a "Practice-a-Thon" to be held soon. This will help the individual students to raise money for the coming year. Students will collect pledges, which will go toward their lessons and supplies and can be gathered for each specified period of practice time the student spends during the course of the month. Another option is to have a set "day" where students can sign up for a specific time slot and practice a straight hour or two at the studio. The money raised (from the pledges) could go to a charity or organization that helps underprivileged kids learn music! More details to follow...
