Studio Recital!Our Spring Recital is Friday, May 4th at 7:00 pm! Come join us for a great time, wonderful performances, and a celebration of music and students' hard work.See some pictures from the Performances & Awards Students, family members, and friends are welcome to these performances held at local retirement communities, churches, and piano stores. Friday evenings are the date of choice. If you have any preferences, please let me know. Students must arrive 15 minutes early to the recital. Please allow yourself ample time. Rushing in just before the recital will not be conducive to a relaxed, comfortable performance and will put extra stress on the teacher. The recital, with awards, will last anywhere from 30-90 minutes. With the advice of my family, the parents, and the students, we will probably be splitting the recital crowd into two groups (outside venue) or three groups (my studio). I give awards to all participating students, so please stay around until the end of the recital. We then have refreshments and guests have the opportunity to write a little note in our guestbook. Students will also receive certificates for any books they complete and if they have won the Student of the Month Award for any months leading up to the recital date. Unless otherwise notified, feel free to invite anyone! Family and friends are welcome to attend – we usually have an abundance of seating (if we use a music store or church). Invitations are available for those who need them. |
