Why might I consider taking music lessons in the
studio?
Each student has potential
and
will have the wonderful opportunity to try what is considered to be one of the most
difficult instruments in the area of music and yet is also among the top "instantly
gratifying" instruments to tackle. No matter your age, level, or interest,
my dedication to the art and goal to help each student reach that potential
will cancel any doubts you initially have regarding your ability to play such a
beautiful instrument, whether it be singing or learning the piano.
2
Chronicles 5:13A =
The trumpeters and
singers joined in unison, as
with one voice, to give praise
and thanks to the Lord.
Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals
and other instruments, they
raised their voices in praise to
the Lord and sang: "He is good;
His love endures forever."

Lesson information
Find
out more about the teacher...
Kristin has been playing the piano since her 7th birthday, and from the
beginning would show all the neighboring girls and boys what she had
learned. She has been teaching piano as a business and ministry since she was 14
years old and plans on continuing for years to come. It is
necessary to know that I do not teach simply for extra cash or an
easy job until I find a "real" one. Teaching is my passion, music
is the expression of my heart. I teach because I love to; I
perform and practice because God has given me the desire to; I find joy
in the piano and in vocal art because they are absolutely breathtakingly
beautiful. When I am not teaching, I am planning lessons... when I
am not planning lessons, I am creating fun worksheets and activities...
when I am not creating activities, I am practicing. I practice
because I believe it is the calling on my life to be the best I can at
everything I do. Teaching music is not just a vocation, but a
calling. My life will never cease to be one of sharing the gift of
music with others of any age, of any skill level, and of any music
goals. I am blessed with the students I have, am excited to meet
you, and will always count it an honor to be a part of yours or your
child's life.

Testimonials & Reviews (used with permission)
I find Kristin to be highly organized and accomplished.
She has a wonderfully positive attitude and is the
perfect teacher for all ages of people – particularly
those of us “over 60”!
Emma Lincoln - adult student :-)
Wonderful! I was at the last recital and
I am so impressed with all the kids’ improvement. You
are obviously a great teacher and good role model for
these kids. Thanks for caring!

Niki Vance – (regarding recital, Christmas '07)
Kristin is a great teacher because she understands how much
encouragement and praise helps to teach.

Kristin is an awesome
pianist. She has been playing for many years and is very skillful
and artful at playing. She composes her own music, writes her own
songs, and is very good at it. She is respected by many, she is
determined, reliable, kind, considerate, organized, and friendly.
Kristin has been serving God for many years with her piano, literally
touching many people's hearts with her music. It is definitely a
good investment to have her teach you or your family.
Michael - acoustic and electric guitarist, song writer
Kristin's website
clearly shows that 'simple is better'.
I've noticed many sites where the designer spent more time on the 'look
and feel' rather than the content. While the site doesn't have any
fancy animations or effects, it's still pleasing to the eye, and finding
the information you need is extremely easy. Kristin displays an
incredible amount of enthusiasm and passion for what she does; and not
many "older" teachers have that. Young people are certainly lucky
and blessed to have her for a teacher.
Jeff H. - web designer and music teacher
Kristin is a
wonderful teacher! She is kind and encouraging. Even
when I make mistakes, she doesn't laugh, but instead
helps me fix them non-confrontationally. She conducts
herself with professionalism and is very organized. Her
love for teaching shows in everything she does and her
dedication to her students is a testimony to her love
for music.
Katy - past student Kristin's music-teaching style
is fresh, with creativity and energy! She puts all her
effort into best teaching her students. Thank you for
the blessing you have been to my kids!
Amanda - mom of past students
Kristin is GREAT.
Avalon and I love her and appreciate all she does!
Cheryl Kelly - mom of student
Josh's playing for worship at church went
wonderful. He is so excited and practically lives
on the piano practicing the worship songs. We just
love hearing him play them and it is going to open
up new avenues at youth group for him. Thank
you again for being such a great influence as a
teacher for Josh. We are so happy with how far he
has come in a short time.
Tom & Brenda Melby - parents of student
It has been great
to watch our daughter’s progress after just 1 & ½
years with Kristin. The recital is well put
together and it was a pleasure to watch all the
students perform. The choir class was also a
wonderful addition to studio lessons.
Andrade family - current student

her students and her studio is to be applauded. She
is a blessing to all of her students.
